RTD without Protection Tube
RTDs without protection sheaths are generally used for temperature measurement up to 600°C.
They are suitable for measuring surface temperatures as well as temperatures of liquids and gases.
Depending on the connection type, an RTD can consist of 2, 3, 4, or 6 copper conductors, which are insulated with MgO (Magnesium Oxide) powder and enclosed within a metallic sheath.
The sensing resistor (RTD element) is connected directly to the inner conductors to ensure accurate and stable temperature transmission
