Ceramic Thermocouple
Ceramic Protection Tubes are primarily used to shield thermocouples in extremely high-temperature applications that exceed the limits of metallic sheaths (like stainless steel). They are essential when using Noble Metal Thermocouples (Type R, S, B).
Ceramic Code: C610
Maximum Continuous Temperature: Up to 1400 °C
Key Properties & Advantages: Offers good thermal shock resistance (ability to withstand rapid temperature changes). A more economical choice for standard high-temperature industrial furnaces.
Ceramic Code: C799
Maximum Continuous Temperature: Up to 1800 °C
Key Properties & Advantages: Provides superior chemical inertness and exceptional stability at the highest industrial temperatures. Mandatory for Type B thermocouples and high-purity scientific applications.
